New York State concealed carry permit and firearm safety training course (16hr + 2hr)

Register to take this State-required course all under one roof in our state-of-the-art comfortable classroom and indoor range. The course will be given over two days. You must attend both days.

All courses are filled through May of 2024. If you would like to be placed on the waitlist for June of 2024 and beyond, please contact us by clicking on the 'Contact Us' button below.

The course fee is $289 per student. The fee includes all course materials, firearm use, ammunition, targets, hearing protection, eye protection and instruction by our authorized and more than qualified instructors.

At the successful completion of the course, including a written exam and live fire qualification, each student will receive a certificate that is now necessary to turn in with your new application for a NYS pistol permit.

*Please note you must be at least 21 years of age to register for the course, as well as to apply for a NYS pistol permit.

*Please note you may not attend this course if you have been convicted of a felony and or not allowed to legally possess a firearm. If this is the case, please do not attempt to register for the course.

On Target Firearms is a safe, state-of-the-art, indoor shooting range with 18 lanes, including 4 private lanes for overflow and professional training. There are also two training classrooms for Security, Law Enforcement and NRA certification classes as well as private training. Our facilities include a comfortable waiting lounge with vending machines and a view of the range. We are also a federal firearms licensed dealer and have many firearms for sale, and as a federal firearms licensed dealer we also facilitate many type of transfers.

Our NRA-certified instructors offer group and private training in our classrooms and range. Training is for personal education and safety, as well as for NRA, Security and Law Enforcement certifications.

On Target Firearms is a safe, state-of-the-art, indoor shooting range with 18 lanes, including 4 private lanes for professional training, certifications and overflow. There are also two large training classrooms for Security classes, Law Enforcement training, NRA certification classes, as well as private training.

Our facilities include a comfortable waiting lounge with vending machines and a view of the range.

We are also a Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) dealer and have many firearms for sale. As an FFL dealer we also facilitate many different types of transfers. For more details click on highlighted links throughout the website.
